Me2u - Airtel credit transfer - NaGSM

If you are on the Airtel network, they offer a great service that allows users within the same network to transfer airtime credit to another person. This service is called Airtel ME2U service. If you have got airtime credit on your Airtel phone and want to trasnfer it to maybe your family, friend or business relation, you can do so easily by using Airtel's me2u codes and by first following the steps below:

1. Change your default pin or confirm it as your new pin. The default pin is 1234
2. Send the required sms code

How to change your default pin.
The default pin as I said is 1234 and you can change it to something else like 0000 or the same 1234 if you like.

To do this, simply send a text message in the following format to 432:
PIN[space] [space]
E.g. To change password, the text sent will read
“PIN 1234 4321” or “PIN 1234 1234” if you want to retain the default pin as your new pin

You will receive a confirmation that your new pin has been changed to what you chose. You can save this pin in your head or somewhere else like close to your sim certificate so you don't forget

Doing the Airtime ME2U Transfer
Send 2u 08021234567 50 1234 as a text message to 432
where 08023234567 is the receiving number, 50 is te naira amount and 1234 is your new pin.
You will receive a confirmation that it has been sent via sms. The receiver will also receive the sms and airtime credit.

I tried following the steps listed above but the registration of my pin kept replying registration error. Pls how can I succesfully transfer airtime? Thanks!
