Etisalat Nigeria offers an online backup service to registered subscribers and this one is called Easybackup.

Easybackup is an online service that allows subscribers on the Etisalat Nigeria network

You'd first of all need to create an online account using the web address: easybackup.etisalat.com.ng by downloading and installing the application on your phone.
You would create a free account with your username and a password.

How to start using Easybackup
==========
In order to be able to restore your phone data in case of loss, theft or damage on the Etisalat network, you'd need to first of all subscribe to the service and do an initial backup.

- Send SUB to 48900 in an sms you will receive a reply
- Follow the url in the sms and install the application
- Enter your log in details: username and password
- Synchronize your data such as contacts, calendars, notes, pictures, videos and files.

What you get
=================
Ability to store your contacts, calendars and notes in an online platform and be able to retrieve it using the registered Etisalat number from any supported mobile phone.

Restoring your lost data
==============
So assuming you've registered for the service initially by doing a first time backup, your last saved data can always be retrieved from the Etisalat network by simply doing a synchronization with the new phone and registered Etisalat number.
You just need to go to the portal(http://apps.easyphonebackup.com/), download the app, log into your account using your phone number(without first zero e.g. 809++) and password(PIN) and then do a synchronization. Your new phone would then be updated with your backed up personal data.
