If you have been using the internet either for your mobile gadget or computer and you are fed up with maybe limited data plans associated with such plans, perhaps it's time you move up to an internet service that allows you unlimited data downloads.

Most GSM and telecom firms in Nigeria that offer internet service tend to have common plans that limit your data to a level such as 100mb, 1gb or 3gb but are all those limits really enough?

If you are the kind of person that maybe loves entertaining yourself by watching Nigerian music videos, helpful tutorials, weight loss exercises, gadget repairs or other useful videos on Youtube, I doubt if even a 3gb plan would be sufficient for you. Same thing goes for webmasters or internet savvy people that do a lot of uploads and downloads and they find out that their current internet service plan doesn't really suffice. It means that it's time to move up to a higher plan that allows you unlimited browsing.

What are the unlimited internet plans available in Nigeria?
There are not really a lot but I bet most Telecom firms do offer them. I have been able to do a bit of research and found out the following plans that come with unlimited data.

MTN
Hynet - From N3.950
Simpl Surf - From N250

Mobitel
1Mbps Internet browsing plan - N10,000

Zoom Mobile
24/7 internet browsing bundle - N10,000

Mobitel
2Mbps Internet browsing plan - N15,000

Starcomms iZAP
24/7 internet bundle (24/7) - N15,950
Business internet bundle (9am to 9pm) - N7,000

Visafone
24/7 internet bundle (24/7) - N16,000

Mobitel
3Mbps Internet browsing plan - N30,000

ipNX
unlimited internet (10 systems, 1Mbps) - N60,000
unlimited internet (20 systems, 1Mbps) - N90,000

There may be many more ISPs that offer unlimited internet plans but these are the ones I have been able to find. If you use the internet frequently and your current service doesn't last up to a month before needing to resubscribe, it's best to just go for any of these flat plans and browse as much as you want without paying extra until the month ends.
