Initially, what we had was just the ordinary family and friends package but the next plan that came was much bigger and better. It is called MTN Family and friends expanded.

What is Family and friends really?
Well it is a plan that allows you to save costs when calling your friends and family, it is that simple. So if you are for instance calling others for a flat fee of 10x, with F&F Xpanded, you could call for as low as 5x.

Some benefits of Family and friends Xpanded
- Now you can register up to 10 people as your family and friends
- You can register 8 MTN numbers, 1 number from another local network and a last number from a US or Canadian number
- You get call rates as low as 20k per second for registered numbers

How to start using MTN Family and friends:
Simply dial *407#

To register a number *560*1*MSISDN#
To view numbers *560#
To delete a number *560*2*MSISDN#

Where MSISDN is the number of the contact you are adding to the Family and friends plan
