Want to own a Hyundai car? Well, MTN Nigeria seems to be doing a promo now that gives subscribers the opportunity to win a Hyundai car and this happens daily. Can you beat that?
What the average cost of a Hyundai car in Nigeria now? Well something like N1m plus.

I found out about it today when I receieved and sms from MTN Nigeria saying
"Simply Text Yes to 1010 now! You are rewarded with an invitation for MTN's Hyundai ix35 draw today! You could win! You're fortunate! Subscribe for N100/day"

So how much does it cost? Only N100.
How does one subscribe? Simple by texting Yes to 1010 and the N100 will be automatically deducted from your balance. If yu

However there were still things I wasn't quite sure about yet. Things still like:

- Do I need to subscribe daily or will they automatically keep deducting money from my account?
- Can I send more than one entry?
- How to I unsubscribe?

Well all the questions were answered when I just subscribed by sending Yes to 1010 as I got about 3 sms replies.
The 1st and 2nd sms replies came from 2020 telling me that I have made qualified entry and eligible to win a Hyundai car and so on.

The 3rd sms came from 1010 informing me that I have 10 pts which allows my name to entr 10 times in tonight's draw for the Hyundai car. I was however urged to increase my chances by Texting go to 2020 in order to get 50 pts, now that would cost an additional N10/sms. Well, since it was just N10, I entered to see where it will take me again. So it now gave me 50 more points and took me to the MTN speed Zone where every correct answer would give me 50 more points.
Had to call it a day. I'm ok with my entries so far.

So whether you enter with just N100 sms to 1010 for 10 pts or increase your chances using the Speed Zone, you are still entitled to win at the daily draws. Additionally, 5 lucky participants(with the most points) would also win N10,000 daily prices apart from the Hyundai car winner.

Starting date: 10:00:00 May 11th, 2012.

Ending date: 23:59:59 August 18th, 2012.

we Nigerian we are in trouble in the hands of the telecommunition companies and their promos. When Etisalat started their own alot of people fall victim of though some names were later published in their website as the winner. In the etisalat promo i had over 60 million points and nothing was given to me. Mtn has started theirs and i know for sure that millions of Nigerian have to fall victim of it again including me because as am talking to you now am having over one million points and nothing to show for it. Personally for me, the best kind of promo I prefer getting into are the direct bonus ones. For instance, if one loads N500, then they give N1000 - That is the kind of promo I prefer taking advantage of rather than just lotteries where there are only few winners.

1. Is it really a daily draw? Is it aired by any station? If yes, can you give the list of d channels?
2. Does d points accumulate and makes you eligible for the days u dont play? As a company with high reputation, i think its perforce 4 MTN to keep us in the loop as regard winnings. That would further boost the credibility of the company and reinforce people to participate. Its just common sense to give feedbacks. MTN is not doing a promo but playing Kalokalo(like LOTO). A corporate organisation at 10 years in Nigeria should be doing a promo that is free to enter instead of reaping-people-off. Assuming 1million Nigerians subscribe at the rate of N100/text that is N100million naira. I believe it should be treated as a shameful & unacceptabele event, instead of it being celebrated.
